Oftentimes, people believe that the only solution to getting superior homemade video images is to buy a high end digital or a high definition camcorder. But the truth is, it does not really matter if your camcorder is high definition or bought at a high price. Even at a low price, you can find a camcorder that you really want. This is true of the Digital 8 Video Camcorder that is perfect for Digitial8 recording. It is a mixture of the older Hi8 tape transport and the DV codec. Aside from being technically advanced, it is also offered in the market at a very affordable price.

Most of the camera creators today still offer the Digital 8 Video Camcorder. It is still sold not to sell their surplus because they have a lot in excess or they just wanted to dispose of them in order to make more innovative technologies. It is because this camcorder has still retained its popularity among many people to take a picture of their memories.

The Digital 8 Video Camcorder cannot really offer everything in one bag but it still has its great features. Like many other high end definitions of digital camcorders today, the Digital 8 does not have its small media cards that you can use to store your pictures or videos. It makes use of the similar videocassette tapes of Hi8 equipment. The difference between the Digital 8 and the Hi8 is that the recording can be done digitally. Its video head drum also spins 2.5 times faster. It also uses NTSC as well as PAL Digital8 devices, which has a standard-length 120-minute for NTSC and 90-minute for PAL Hi8 cassette that can hold 60 minutes of Digital 8 recording. The tapes recommended or those that are compatible are the Hi8 metal-particle cassettes which are usually sold in the market for both Hi8 as well as Digital8 use. Another great thing about Digital 8 Video Camcorder is that it has a better price tag than most camcorders. Its low price does not really mean that it lacks the quality that you are looking for.

Digital 8 Video Camcorders contains an excellent creation that can be captured on video tape. As a result of fire wire technology present today, the media can be transported to a personal computer using hardly any clicks of the mouse. The image on the video tape can be kept for safe keeping and can also be recorded in order to make the most out of buying them.

When the video is transported to a personal computer, it can burn into a DVD and you can comfortably watch it in a DVD player. You can play it in playback and watch it yourself. You will be able to see the high quality of the video you have taken. This only means that these Digital 8 Video Camcorders are very effective technology for the pictures and videos can easily be viewed. That is why they are still sold in stores nationwide nowadays.

If you suffer from high levels of cholesterol, then it is extremely important to have your blood cholesterol level monitored regularly. Cholesterol readings comprise of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol levels, triglycerides as well as HDL cholesterol level. Whenever you get the levels checked by your physician, ensure that you get the cholesterol levels of all the three (total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol as well as HDL cholesterol) checked. 200mg/dL of blood in the optimum amount of cholesterol desirable. However, this level may go as high as 239mg/dL without much adverse effects. However, the moment it goes above 240mg/dL, you are in a precarious state, and stand the risk of falling prey to fatal heart diseases.

LDL Cholesterol
This low density lipoprotein is popularly known as “bad cholesterol”. High levels of this may lead to cholesterol deposits in the walls of the blood stream, and increase risk of possible heart diseases. It is best if this cholesterol is maintained at less than 200 milligrams per deciliter or 200 mg/dL. The borderline cap of LDL is around 200-239mg/dL. However, having this at a level above 240mg/dL is dangerous.

HDL Cholesterol
High density lipoprotein is known as the “good cholesterol”. HDL helps in moving excess cholesterol from the tissues to the liver; the liver breaks this down and makes it a part of bile which is ultimately removed. Unlike LDL, the higher the HDL level the better. The minimum level that you must maintain for HDL is 40mg/dL to 45 mg/dL.a level above 60mg/dL is said to be beneficial to heart and brain, as it protects the coronary and cerebral blood vessels.

Triglycerides
Triglycerides constitute the third type of fats. This is the type of fat that flows in our blood stream. Most of the fats that we get from our body are triglycerides. However, too much of this type is a potential risk to our body and heart. A high level of triglycerides thickens the blood, and could possibly lead to heart attack due to blood clotting. Therefore, try to maintain the triglyceride level between to 150-199. Do not let it rise above 200.

The levels given above are only estimated ones. The actual level that would be best for you depends on your risk factor- your age, general health, build, gender and family history. No one level suits all, and it varies from person to person. However, experts believe that a total of above 240mg/dL indicates lifestyle change, might lead to heart diseases, and is unhealthy. As per the new set of national guidelines, people with high cholesterol levels should be treated every 1-2 years. An extremely frequent checkup, say one every 2-3 months, will be of little benefit, unless one is undergoing some intensive therapy.
